About
Hi, I’m Fiona, Mum to 3 adopted children. Through AdoptResources, I offer coaching and training for parents, carers and practitioners involved in adoption and fostering or at the thinking about stage. I am passionate about supporting families caring for children who have suffered early trauma or neglect and am always on the look out for new ways of approaching some of the things thrown up along the way.
I also work as a freelance consultant on projects in other areas from e-Learning for healthcare professionals to clinical and social research projects.
You can follow me on twitter @adoptresources and join in discussion on AdoptResources facebook page.
Hi Fiona – I have just found your blog and can’t wait to settle down and have a good read! From the little I have read already, I know that it’s going to be invaulable one day soon. We had good news last night – a little lads SW’s want to come and meet us in a months time. very unexpected as we thought there were no “potentials” in the pipeline + our SW is retiring next month so alot of up heavel at a very prominant time.
Anyway off to make tea then going to read your blog.

Hi Fiona-
I saw your message on my Adopted Ed Facebook page. I’d love for you to review my book. (If you visit my website you’ll learn that I too was born in England by English parents and was adopted by an American couple who were living there at the time. I’ve also been back there and found both my bio mother and father).
Anyway, let me know where I can send you the book for review.
